Watching your baby sister be a mom is a pretty cool thing.
Our little nephew Walter is 100% boy - we are talking swords, sports and you better believe you're going to be wrestled into a hug. I think the arrival of a little girl is going to bring such a different side to the Cowie household and Walter has such a loving heart that I just know his little sister is going to be his pride and joy!
Our lives are about to take such a joyous journey as our family grows and I find myself smiling continuously about the adventures ahead of us! I couldn't be happier as I anticipate the day I get to hold my little niece.
We met with the Holt Family on late summer evening at Indian Fort Nature preserve for this adorable family session. The minute Everly stepped out of the car, we were oohing and ahhing over her huge blue eyes, chubby little cheeks, and sweet strawberry blonde hair. We clicked away at our cameras as she ran, and explored which made catching glimpses of her smile and laughter an easy task. We had such a good time laughing along with the Holts and we love getting to catch the tender moments between families.
Meet Hannah Wood; A senior at Houghton Academy graduating with the class of 2018. Everyone who knows Hannah, knows she is a whole lot of personality packed into one adorable little lady. Brock and Hannah happen to have moms who are best friends, and so the two of them have grown up together. Brock has many fond memories of Hannah as a little girl. He remembers her as being outgoing, independent and strong willed - and guess what, nothing has changed. She still radiates strength and determination. We had such a fun time exploring Letchworth State Park, while catching up with Hannah and seeing the beautiful person she has become. She is funny, thoughtful, and intelligent and filled with an inner beauty to match her gorgeous exterior.
Th Barnes family visited Rochester this summer and we felt so thankful to have had the chance to spend some time with them while they were here. Strolling through Highland Park, they made the session easy and fun as we captured their fun loving personalities -and felt so inspired by the bond of friendship they share as a family.
I cry at every birthday and every milestone because our time is so precious and its moving by so quickly. This little sun ray is now 8 and full of personality. I couldn't be prouder of the little lady she is. She's won multiple character awards at school and she's endlessly loving, and bright.
Her quick whit and sense of humor keeps us laughing and her fashion sense keeps us guessing..... I present to you, an 8 year old version of Quinn Daisy

Hannah is a complete ray of sunshine. She oozes this genuine, down to earth, sweetness. Walking up to her the first thing we noticed was her infectious smile and as the session went on and we learned more about her we couldn't help but adore her sweet personality, her beautiful soul and the way her cute little nose crinkled when she smiled.
